Little will discuss the ways in which the government does act on behalf of consumers and what the limits of such action are. Focusing on CFI’s groundbreaking lawsuits against Walmart and CVS for their retailing of homeopathic products and homeopathy manufacturer Boiron, he will show that there is a real opportunity for skeptic organizations to use consumer protection laws to fight back against pseudoscience.
