The state of technology now allows people to experiment, compose & perform with classic analog synthesizer circuits, at a fraction of the traditional cost. In addition, MIDI, storage of presets, built-in sequencers & post-effects make these synths much easier to work with & more versatile.

Still, at the most basic level, the analog synth designers understand how satisfying the tweaking of knobs & sliders, to get the sound you want, can be. The organic sculpting of seemingly endless varieties of sound is a very creative & addicting process.

The Korg Minilogue is a great example of this technology. We will be presenting an overview & demo of this cool little analog synth, along with a short basic analog synthesis tutorial. Due to the positive response so far, we plan to set up a second Minilogue, so everyone can get a good balance of theory & hands-on. I look forward to meeting you all.
