Power BI Tampa - October 2018 Updates on the Power Platform

In our October 2018 Meetup for the Tampa Power BI User Group, we will be shifting focus to help prepare for some of the incredible features that will be released to the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, etc). We will be covering what is coming to Power BI (data flows, integration with PowerApps, etc.)

We also wanted to announce the new Tampa PowerApps User Group! Ted Pattison will be joining us to present on getting up & running with PowerApps and introducing how to begin to use PowerApps for your organization.

Ted will provide a quick introduction to PowerApps to get everyone up and running with PowerApps Studio. Attendees will learn how to build a user interface in PowerApps using screens and controls and by writing formulas using the PowerApps expression language. Ted will also explain how the PowerApps model combines data connectors together with data-bound controls such as galleries, forms and data cards to simplify the process of creating mobile apps to access common data sources such as Excel workbooks, SharePoint, Dynamics 365 and SQL Server.
