A distinguished panel of investors will discuss investment in health tech startups and the latest innovations in health tech -- and what to expect for the rest of 2022 and beyond. The current global health crisis and how innovations in health tech may offer solutions will be front and center.
(This is not a pitch event, so no startups will be pitching to the panel.)

Panelists:
Mary Grove, Managing Partner, Bread and Butter Ventures
Mary Grove is the managing partner of Bread and Butter Ventures. She brings nearly two decades of leadership experience in technology, early stage investing, and startup ecosystem growth. She began her career working on the Google IPO, and went on to lead new business development partnerships, negotiating early stage product and technology deals worldwide. Mary then served as the founding director of Google for Startups, leading the company’s global efforts to support entrepreneurs in over 100 countries.
After her 15 year career at Google, Mary worked as an investment partner at Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund where she led dozens of investments in a range of sectors including healthcare, enterprise software, and fintech. She also built the fund’s portfolio support platform and built a network of over 150 mentors and partners to guide startup growth. She earned her BA and MA from Stanford University.
Gary Goldman, MD, Managing Director, Global Health Impact Fund
Gary Goldman is the founder and managing director of the Global Health Impact Fund and Network. With over 30 years of clinical and administrative healthcare experience and 20 years as a serial entrepreneur, Gary has been a founder for two healthcare technology startups, a physician informatics lead overseeing the roll out of the EHR Epic across Sutter Health, a not-for-profit health system in Northern California with 24 hospitals providing service to 100 Northern California cities, and has traveled across the country as a healthcare technology consultant for multiple academic and private HCO’s.
Gary holds a BS from Stony Brook University, a DDS from New York University, and an MD from Drexel University Medical School.
Jay Zeidman, Managing Partner, Altitude Ventures
Jay Zeidman is the managing partner of Altitude Ventures’ Houston, Texas office. Before joining Altitude Ventures, Jay was the director of business development for U.S. Capital Advisors and served as an aide to President George W. Bush at the White House. Jay serves on the boards of Houston First Corporation, Texas Southern University Board of Regents, UT Health Science Center of Houston and the Emancipation Park Conservancy. He received his undergraduate degree in economics and political science from TCU, where he also served as student body president, and his M.B.A. from the Jesse Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.
