Random Acts of Kindness FREE Computer Repair Clinic & Open House

• What we'll do
Twice a year, the Tampa Bay Technology Center promotes kindness with their “Random Acts of Kindness Free Computer Repair” clinics. They schedule 14 to 20 computers from our community for a free computer repair on that day. Please register ahead of time by emailing: secretary@tampa-bay.org if you would like the computer repair.

Everyone is welcome to come and hang out during the open house for free and enjoy coffee, donuts and educational seminars. If you would to partake in the computer repair service, please send a message to secretary@tampa-bay.org requesting “Computer Help” in the Subject line. They will assign you a time and let you know.

Coffee and donuts will be served in the morning, hot dogs and pot luck in the afternoon. Seminars throughout the day as well. We feed both your body AND your mind!

Schedule:
9 am – We will start serving coffee and donuts at 9am in the morning. For you early birds, please join Doc, President of TBTC, in the classroom. Doc will go over the history of TBTC and past events. Enjoy your coffee & donuts and we’ll laugh and reminisce about our colorful history, and then look ahead to some of the new things we’re doing in our future.

10 am – Speaker: TBD, Topic: Smartphones

11 am – FREE LUNCH –Lunch will be provided by TBTC members.

12 noon – Speaker: Tara Richter, President of Richter Publishing LLC, Topic: “How to Write a Book in 4 Weeks.” If you have ever wanted to become a published author, don’t miss this!

1 pm –Speaker: Charles Oppermann, Topic: Windows 10. Charles is one of the most knowledgeable speakers about Windows 10. If you need to figure out how to navigate the new Windows operating system be sure to stay for this seminar.

• What to bring
Your computer if you want repair services, but you must a schedule a time slot before hand as space is limited for the free repairs! Email secretary@tampa-bay.org for you time slot. Please do not request it here.
