Bring your finest prose or a true story to share at our monthly open mic.

In addition to open mic readers, we’ll have a featured guest author to kick off the night.

February's guest is Sarasota author and journalist Cooper Levey-Baker, who just released his debut novel, "Dead Fish Wind."

His fiction has appeared in the Sierra Nevada Review and Burrow Press's Fantastic Floridas series, and his journalism has won multiple awards from the Florida Magazine Association and the Florida Society of Professional Journalists.

The Rules:

  1. Every reader gets 10 minutes to share their work.
  2. We’ll limit each event to just 10 readers.
  3. Toss your name in the bucket when you arrive. Names will be chosen at random.
  4. Tickets are $5 and must be purchased in advance. No cash ticket sales at the door. Ticket link coming soon.
  5. Capacity is limited to 50 to 70%. So, get your ticket early!
  6. Masks and social distancing are encouraged by Studio@620.
