What we're about
This is a group for anyone that is interested in highly competitive dragon boat or SUP racing. Dragon Boat paddles, life jackets, and training is provided for those that want to learn Dragon Boat or SUP racing. The team has dragon boat practice twice a week (Tues 6:30 pm and Saturday Mornings are 8:00 am) at Rick's on the River in Tampa. SUP practices occur before and after practice on these days. Dragon Boat is a great competitive social sport, able to meet new people, make new friends, and win medals at races!!!

This is a membership based non-profit club and membership fee's are $10/month. This helps cover the cost of monthly boat storage at Rick's, Insurance, maintenance on the Dragon Boat and the Stand Up Paddle Board Fleet.
We participate in 10 Dragon Boat races and 10 SUP races yearly. The team was founded in 2014 to really bring "community" back to the sport. Invictus strives to create a community culture through teaching the sport of Dragon Boat and SUP racing, as well as volunteering in our local community through several outreach projects . This team is captained by myself (Jim Ellis), I've been dragon boat racing for 15 years and love to share my passion for paddling and fitness with new members that are interested in trying out.
