This is the R User Group for the Tampa Bay area (Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater). This Meetup site is used to coordinate our meetings (time/location/RSVPs), and our GitHub site ( https://tampausers.github.io ) hosts meeting materials, discussions, and other information.
R is a free software environment for statistical computing and data visualization. R's rapid and widespread uptake across both academia and industry is driven, in large part, by a rich and collaborative user community. The Tampa R Users Group aims to serve as a local hub for this community to share ideas, discuss R related topics, and provide helpful resources.
It doesn't matter if you're an R newcomer or ninja, an academic, or a commercial user -- absolutely anyone with an interest in R is welcome to join our monthly Meetup!
We are proudly sponsored by the R Consortium's User Group Program.
