Powershell for the DBA

Details
Adam Chandley will present Powershell for the DBA.
The role of the SQL DBA has always been dynamic and quickly evolving. If you aren’t already leveraging Powershell to orchestrate your environment, you’re missing out on great functionality that can make your work easier. In this session I will introduce Powershell as though you’ve only passively leveraged it in the past, going through common vocabulary and facets, and demoing a few scenarios where Powershell can help save time on routine tasks.
Adam is a Lead DBA with Nextech Systems in Tampa, Florida. He has over 10 years of experience working with SQL Server in complex, high performance environments. Adam is also a USF graduate with an MS in Management Information Systems. He blogs at sqlmadhadr.blogspot.com and tweets with handle @sqlmadhadr.
Food will be provided, bring your appetite for food, and knowledge!
