Tonight's Feature Presentation is provided by: Franklin Yamamoto
Presentation Title: "When Developers Go Bad"
Abstract: Many times performance problems get blamed on the database. At the root many performance problems are database related; however, in many cases these are the result of coding practices. In this presentation I will describe some common scenarios that I've seen cause performance problems. I will also show how some of these are the result of default behavior exposed by .Net APIs and how to avoid said default behavior.
