Wordier Than Thou storytelling open mic - Dunedin

This unique open mic focuses on storytelling -- no poetry or music. So come share your finest prose, or if you're just in the mood for listening, catch some tales from our area's wordsmiths.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Readings will begin around 7 p.m.

A featured reader will kick off the night, followed by open mic slots. Open mic readers get 10 minutes and will be timed.

    I know the spot can be a little tricky to find. So here are a few things to keep in mind when looking for the venue on Thursday.

    The Showcase Arts Foundation space is located in Braemoor Plaza, the only strip mall between 580 and Curlew Road. It's located on the west side of the road between a stand-alone drive thru dry cleaner and a giant convenience store. Also, keep your eyes open for the coin dealer sign.
