Monday Workshop: Build your own Alien Planet!

We will meet at 6:30 pm for some casual networking. Bottled water will be available and feel free to bring your own food.

Workshop: Alien Planet with Ryan Trevillyan and Laura Wampfler

This is a HANDS ON Workshop!! So be prepared. This meetup is applicable to all Unity developers. Participants will learn how to set up a 3d scene, make an alien terrain and add mobs, AI, and simple first person combat. You will also learn how to light the scene, add audio sources that change with distance, and some fun shader tricks. We will also discuss more advanced techniques if you want to try to improve your scene at home and show you a video of what you can do!

Please bring your own laptops if possible and your power cords if necessary. We have plenty of space. We will have a download for you so you can follow along using the free assets we will provide.

Afterwards, we have an answer and question period and then you may share your updates and Unity experiences with the group.
