World Usability Day Tampa Bay 2019 - Workshop: Designing for the Future of TBUX

Details
World Usability Day is Thursday, November 14, 2019, and it's time to celebrate in Tampa Bay with a workshop focused on designing the future of TBUX!
2019 Theme: Designing for the Future We Want
Design has a huge influence on people’s lives. What we design today can have a lasting impact on the world. Let’s use this year’s theme, “Design for the Future We Want”, to focus our work to improve the world through better experiences and create a better future together.
This year’s theme was inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals, set by the United Nations (UN). These 17 goals on the 2030 agenda provide a roadmap to a more peaceful and prosperous future for all.
Tampa Bay's Event:
How do we design and build the future of the Tampa Bay UX group? What does UX look like in Tampa Bay? This event will be interactive and we’ll use the design thinking process to discover and test solutions to how we can better educate our communities about the value and craft of User Experience.
About
World Usability Day is single day of events occurring around the world that brings together communities of professional, industrial, educational, citizen, and government groups for our common objective: to ensure that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use.
It is about celebration and education—celebrating the strides we have made in creating usable products and educating the masses about how usability impacts our daily lives. It is about making our world work better. It is about reaching out to the common citizen and spreading the message: We don’t have to put up with products and services that don’t work well and that human error is a misnomer.
No one should have to suffer through products and services that get in their way. People should not be made to feel stupid by technology.
