World Usability Day Tampa Bay 2020 - A Collaboration w/ UX for Change

World Usability Day is Thursday, November 12, 2020, and we're celebrating in Tampa Bay!

For this year's event, we will partner with UX for Change - a global community of designers who care deeply about making a difference in the world - to solve a real-world human design challenge for Hope4ATRT, a Tampa Bay nonprofit organization.

About This Event
The event will split into 2 related design challenges that build off one another. Before the challenges begin, we’ll learn more about Hope4ATRT, an organization that directs resources and research to families in the fight against ATRT, a rare form of pediatric brain cancer.

Then, we will break out into smaller groups to tackle our design challenges:
Design Challenge #1: We will explore the journey of a family facing ATRT and outline the touchpoints where they need access to resources and research - exactly the place where Hope4ATRT can support them.
Design Challenge #2: We will analyze and optimize the structure of the existing resources and research on the Hope4ATRT website, as well as potential resources streams uncovered in the first design challenge.

To conclude the event, each group will share their key insights and ideas with the entire group, providing Hope4ATRT with some actionable next steps to better serve families facing ATRT.
