What we're about

Tangle Addicts started as a group of friends getting together once a month or so to practice the Zentangle Method as well as to do Zentangle Inspired Art and generally have fun and encourage each other. After becoming a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT), I have more resources to bring to the group and want to share it with more people. I host monthly events, some are free and some will be classes that have a fee.

Make sure to check the event descriptions for details, and please let me know if you have any questions.

Upcoming events (4+)

Tangle Time - AM

Online event

Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. The Zentangle Method increases focus, creativity and provides artistic satisfaction along with an increased sense of personal well-being.

And - Absolutely No art skill is required!

For these reasons, and to help me master the online class idea, I am offering this class at no cost for now.

In this class - I'll talk us through a tangle or two, maybe a technique or two... Whatever we have time for - and if we go long - That's ok too.

If you are new to Zentangle - that's ok!! You don't need special stuff, see what I have listed in parenthesis. If you want to order supplies, visit the store on my website: www.tangleaddicts.com. Your orders, support my ability to hold these free classes.

Items you will need :
> Micron Pen of your choosing (Felt or plastic nib pens work too - or anything you can write with, will work in a pinch.)
> Traditional Zentangle Tile of your choosing (3.5" square - A piece of thicker paper, like cardstock, works great.)
> Pencil
> Tortillion (For shading the graphite from the pencil. You can use your finger, or maybe a cotton swab.)

Online Event Instructions/Info:
If you run into any problems, you can also access links for my classes on my website, www.tangleaddicts.com

Please allow time to potentially download a program for this platform. It also works with Chrome.
I usually log on 5-10 minutes early to get myself set up. Feel free to jump on early to do the same. :)

For best results:
Double click/tab on the Tangle Time video to make it larger than the rest of the webcams.
Be close to your WiFi Source and if you can be the only person on your WiFi, that helps with bandwidth.
Exit other programs on your computer or device.
Mute yourself, especially if you have noise in your background.
Be ready to have some creative fun!!
I will take a screenshot at the end, and will share via email and post, and appreciate if you email me a picture of your work. I am adding them to a gallery on my site for all to see and share.
If you need Zentangle supplies or wish to support these free sessions, please visit my website and find the link to my store. - Your support is greatly appreciated!
