Taoist Tai Chi Beginners' Classes - New members can start any time.
Want to try Taoist Tai Chi? Come join us for a beginning Tai Chi class. Classes are held weekly on Wednesday nights 6-8pm. We will be instructing the Tai Chi Form and exercises. New members can join a class at any time. It generally takes 3 or 4 months to be introduced to the 108 movements of the Tai Chi set. There is no pressure to master the movements in three months! At the beginning, the main goal is to start to gently exercise, relax, find balance and have fun. The classes last for around 1.5 to 2 hours with a short break for refreshment. Visitors are welcome to observe and/or participate in any beginner class throughout the year. You may register at your first class. Feel free to contact one of the organizers for details. The Taoist Tai Chi Society is a charitable organization dedicated to improving peoples health. All instructors are volunteers in keeping with our mission to help others. More info available at these links: Hope to see you there.

What we're about

Since ancient times, Taoists have been renowned for the cultivation of health and harmony in both body and spirit. To make the benefits of this tradition available to people everywhere, Master Moy Lin-shin, a Taoist monk, began teaching and sharing his knowledge of the Taoist arts in 1970. Since then, participants in 28 countries have found Taoist Tai Chi to have a profound effect for people of all ages and abilities. We invite you to join us at one of our demos or beginner events to discover a genuine path to spiritual well-being, harmony, and health.
