Cheese miniTASTING: Thursday night (near St Pauls)

We are launching our first FOOD minitasting with Cheese.

This tasting theme is:

I used to be an ABC (anything but cheddar) kind of girl... but recently my mind has been opened to the complexity of cheddar.  It's far from my rubbery memories of Yellow Kraft.  Come along and explore the exciting world of cheddar

Event details:

It's the New Year... time for us all to learn something new & do something different. Including me!!!

In addition to our monthly wine miniTASTINGs, I thought we would mix it up a bit and host a food miniTASTING.

Please note: We do not include the name of the products as it's more about opening your mind and encouraging conversation with the people that come.

The new miniTASTINGS format is a huge success...  more laughter and more great people to meet.

If you're coming alone for the first time, don't worry - I'll be there with a big welcoming smile and make sure are introduced to a fun group of people.

After the tasting, guest may partake in an organise group supper.  Please let your host know on the night.  The cost is £10 extra

Cost of the tasting:

only £12 if pre-paid on-line 24 hours in advance

£15 cash on the door

FREE for all Bon Vivant members, why not join today?

Bon Vivant's please log in and register on

If you would like to pre-pay and receive the advance price, the link above will redirect you to the Tastour website, where your money will be collected via paypal or credit card. It is quick and easy!

Special offer! You can come for free if you get 3 of your friends to book too!
(Pay for all tickets in advance, then we'll give you cash back on the night, email [masked] for details)

What’s included:

You’ll enjoy a 1 hour guided side-by-side tasting comparison of 5 different Cheeses

Each month is a different learning theme, giving you tips and tricks to help you learn what you like and why you like it so that you can shop smarter and save money.

Venue:  The Red Herring, 49 Gresham Street City of London, EC2V 7EH

Time: The doors open for check-in at 6:45 pm, however we are there from 6, if you would like to have a pre-tasting drink.  The  tasting starts at 7:00pm and ends at 8pm.  However, most people stay on for a bit of social and drink after the tasting.

    Hello fellow cheese fanatics!

Thanks so much to those that have text and email regarding the tube strikes and our cheese event on the 13th Feb. As the strikes did go ahead last week, and it was a complete nightmare to travel, I thought it best to postpone this weeks event. After all they say cheese can give very wild dreams, and dreams of smelly cheese on the tube could be a real nightmare!

The new date is Monday, the 7th April.

If you can no longer make this date, please change your rsvp here:

If you'd like to buy a ticket for this event, or register as a Bon Vivant, here's the link:

Sorry for any disappointment caused, and I hope you can make the new date.

    Hi Kelly,
Just letting you know that I have switched days to Friday as I really like the look of the event the day after. Nothing wrong with this one at all but too much to do two in a row!
