TNKR is a non-profit founded in Seoul to help North Korean refugees with adjusting to living in Seoul.

More than 350 North Korean refugees have studied in TNKR along with almost 800 volunteer tutors and coaches.

A number of North Korean refugee authors and speakers have studied in TNKR, including:

* Jang Jin-sung, author of Dear Leader and a member of TNKR's Board of Directors

* Yeonmi Park, author In Order to Live and Ambassador of TNKR during 2014.

* Sungju Lee, author of Every Falling Star and the winner of TNKR's first English speech contest.

* Eunsun Kim, author of A Thousand Miles from Freedom and the winner of TNKR's third English speech contest.

* Lee Jusong, author of Sunhee and a participant in TNKR's "How to Help North Koreans" project.

You can get directly involved as a volunteer tutor or coach, or you can help build the organization by helping with fundraising, marketing, social media, writing, editing, graphic design and other support to make the organization dynamic and sustainable.
