The Teacher Travel Network is a group that provides opportunities for teachers to socialize, share war-stories, and ideally, make connections with other people who like to travel and have the same vacation schedules. Connections and friendships made through this meetup have so far resulted in trips to Charleston, Miami, Santa Fe, Italy, and even Cuba. We hope to keep this list growing!
Our mission is not to actually organize trips, but rather to provide a means for teachers to network with each other. If at any point someone is interested in organizing a trip or other adventure, however, the door is open!
We do plan to organize one meeting a month and are open to suggestions for different meeting spots. The one dollar charge at our monthly meetings will go towards the fees that Meetup.com charges us to organize the events. We look forward to meeting you!
Meet at the entrance to the Cape Ann Museum at 11am for a guided tour of the museum followed by lunch at a local restaurant. If weather permits, opt for a harbor-side walk to Stage Fort Park after lunch.
Let's get together for dinner and celebrate the summer! (Please be sure to update your RSVP so we know for how many to reserve a table.)
A note on the fee: In order to cover the annual fees that Meetup charges us, the cost of this event will be $15 divided by the number of people in attendance. (It's not per person, as it says above - it's the total for the group.)
