What we're about

This is a group for all levels of riders. We regularly schedule road rides and family-friendly paved trail rides. These rides typically start from OS Cyclery in Hillsboro, OR. View and print ride maps by following the links to Ride with GPS. Also check this calendar for any last-minute cancellations due to weather. Feel free to fill up your water bottle, check you tires or do a bit of socializing at the shop before and/or after the ride. Hope to see you there. Please read our Disclaimer (https://www.meetup.com/Team-Orenco-Cycling/about/) that applies to all members and events.

Upcoming events (4+)

Flat 15 or 20 miles at an easy pace. 11:00 am start time

Hits the Spot Cafe

Effective Friday, August 27, masks will be required in most public outdoor settings, including large outdoor events, where physical distancing is not possible, and regardless of vaccination status.

The delta variant of the covid virus is far more contagious and can be spread even if you have been vaccinated. While the risk to people who are vaccinated becoming seriously ill is low you can still spread the virus to others. Please help us keep our rides safe. Act responsibly and protect others by wearing a mask and maintain a safe social distance as called for by the statewide outdoor mask requirements.

This ride is an opportunity for those getting into biking to have a reasonable paced experience on a low traffic, mostly flat route with good surfaces. We will regroup as needed to keep everyone together. The average speed for the route will be near 12 mph for the shorter route and 14 for the longer one. We should be at the church in Roy about the same time. Here are the routes.
