Team Orenco Traditional Thursday Ride, with a new twist

Details
Our traditional Thursday ride is north to Jackson School Road and on the the rollers leading to the pallet factory. Then back south a bit to Pumpkin Ridge Road and up a nice climb. Then down Old Pumpkin Ridge Road and back to Orenco. About 25 miles. Our rides have frequent regroups as necessary so that we can stay together as a group.

Here is the new twist!
1 mile Handicapped Mini Event for Team Orenco
This optional segment has a staggered start based on your previous best time over the segment starting near the intersection of Jackson School at Mason Hill and ends near the pallet factory. The rider with the slowest best time starts first. The rider with the second slowest best time starts second delayed by the time difference between her/his best time and that of the first starter. And so on. A spreadsheet containing the best time list can be seen and edited at any time using this link:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zWunCPIBwwxhAAdfVBf6XZ3sVaFLxwYhGRTlWEKcU0o/edit#gid=0
Riders can subtract their best time from the best time of the starting rider to get their handicap. Put that time in your Timer on your smartphone to make it easy. Strava shows times for this segment if you have an account there. The segment is named Rollercoaster. Or just time yourself and enter it into the spreadsheet.
Team Orenco is a great place to ride with great people. This little event for our Traditional Thursday ride will be something any of us has a chance to excel in. If you are having a great day regardless of your speed, you have a good chance of being first to the pallet factory! What we are introducing is a little 4 minute chunk of our normal 2 hour ride where everyone has the same opportunity to do well. The faster riders really have the advantage in that they can see all of those carrots in front of them to chase.
