I am forming a team of nine cyclist to form a cycling team to connect, train and prepare for a fund raising ride to take place likely late September, 2020 for a three day ride from Provincetown, MA on the Cape to Adams, MA in the Berkshires.
Selected riders will be aware of and inspired by the mission of World Wildlife Fund and ready and able to do meaningful fund raising.
The ride will be fully inclusive, AMAZING Team WWF full cycling kit including jersey bib shorts booties and arm warmers in your size, 2 nights lodging (double occupancy) two dinners plus third celebration dinner and beer at the end of the ride, all on the road riding snacks and drinks, route maps and fund raising materials.
The entry cost will be $455 (the team kit costs $355!) plus fund raising responsibilities. (Promotional materials will be provided to you)
Our ride will take across the entirely of Massachusetts. We will cover 275 miles from Cape Cod to the Berkshires and end on Mount Greylock the highest point in Massachusetts
The goal is that we will form a great group of people who like to ride and rain together when possible. I would ideally like to continue with this ride annually and/or add another great New England or NY State route
Anyone of any age or ability from new to retired pro with a passion for the natural world and the protection of wildlife is encouraged to apply for this. I would guess that the ideal person for this is a fairly fit and motivated to train cyclist (no need to be exceptional or a racer,...I'm certainly not) middle age (45-65) but any and all are encouraged to apply.
