Geneva Public Library offers in-building service as of Jan. 20 now that our region has achieved Tier 2 status. Because COVID-19 still impacts our daily lives, the Library must follow guidelines from the State of Illinois for reopening (click here for more detail (https://gpld.org/announcements)). We continue to follow recommendations from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We share updates on our website, https://gpld.org .
We hold storytimes, book talks, and craft events online - check our calendar at https://gpld.org/events for the schedule.
You can enjoy book talks, lectures, crafts, and more 24/7 online through GPLD Connects. Designed to educate, inform, and entertain, GPLD Connects is available on the library’s website, gpld.org (https://gpld.org/).
This remains a fast-changing situation, and we will provide regular updates during this time. We will continue to actively monitor reports of COVID-19 and follow guidance from the CDC, Illinois Departmentof Public Health, the State of Illinois, and Kane County Health Department. The safety of our community and staff are our primary concern right now. Please continue to check our website, gpld.org (https://gpld.org/), for ongoing updates. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
