The rise of ethical tech: making the digital economy our own
Hosted by Tech for Good Brighton
Details
What if Uber drivers owned the app? What if artists owned the streaming platform? What are the alternatives to the Big Tech companies monopolising the market?
Tech for Good Brighton are branching our this month to explore wider 'tech for good' themes, including ethical tech, new models of shared ownership and raising social investment.
We're collaborating with Unfound, an eight-week accelerator supporting early-stage digital ‘platform co-ops’, and the Dot Project, a 'responsible tech' consultancy based in Bristol who will be facilitating the session.
This event will feature examples such as Moov, a new cooperative taxi platform for Brighton as well as other pioneering examples of digital co-ops tackling local issues.
And guess what? It's all free!
