How do you support the needs of others while being remote? It’s been over a year since most of us started working from home, but what will the next set of challenges be? How do we as leaders help create the right remote environment for others to do their best work?

In this session we’ll be exploring why leading in remote spaces can feel hard, what a different approach might be and some practical ways to build connection & safety.

Socotra is currently an Agile Coach at Mama Money, a social impact business based in Cape Town, South Africa. She has been an active member of the Agile community for the past 3 years and served on the Scrum User Group of South Africa committee for 2 years. She is passionate about helping teams uncover better ways of working remotely and having fun while doing it. When she isn't working she is reading as many books as she can and tending to her indoor plants.
