A Meta-Media Panel: The Role of Media Reporters in the Press

Details
Hello again friends!
For our fifth event, we're delving back into the craft and role of journalism.
Joining us is a trio of fantastically sharp media reporters: Shannon Bond (http://blogs.ft.com/tech-blog/author/shannonbond/) of The Financial Times, Jason Abbruzzese (http://mashable.com/people/jasona/) of Mashable, and Tom Kludt (https://twitter.com/tomkludt) of CNN.
With the news media industry in flux, we'll take a look at the occasionally awkward role and practice of covering the press, as part of the press.
We're back at NYU's lovely event space at the Arthur L. Carter School of Journalism at 20 Cooper Square.
It's not yet decided if I'll moderate this one or not, but we may recruit a more esteemed observer of the press than myself ahead of the panel. We'll certainly let you know if so.
As always, we'll follow this rough schedule:
6:30 - Arrive and talk to each other
7:00 - Panel discussion
8:00 - More talking to each other
8:30 - Leave
And of course, your entry fee will be put directly towards snacks, beer, and gifts for our panelists.
Look forward to seeing all of you fine people there.
