Mr. Reiffert began his career at the NYC headquarters of Greenberg Traurig focusing on public and private Mergers & Acquisitions, project finance, financial advisory representation, and SEC compliance, then a few years later felt the itch to move back to Texas and accepted a position in the Houston office of Latham & Watkins (ranked #5 law firm globally by Vault) with a focus on Capital Markets, including representing issuers & underwriters in several Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), as well as a continuing emphasis on Mergers & Acquisitions and SEC compliance. After another couple of years, he moved back home to San Antonio, where after a brief stint in a local boutique law firm, he became General Counsel of WGVS, a San Antonio technology startup that has raised over $8 million in funding.
