The first two Startup Weekend events in Cebu (http://www.cebu.startupweekend.org) 2012 were a smashing success!

Come join the startup movement! Hear from previous SWC attendees, and find out how you can learn new skills, build contacts and meet potential partners/team members for your next business.

Everyone is invited, you simply need to have a idea for a business, skill/s to contribute to building a business around an idea, or be willing to learn new skills.

No Talk, All Action. Launch a Startup in 54 hours.

Startup Weekend (http://www.startupweekend.org/) is an intense 54 hour event which focuses on building a web or mobile application which could form the basis of a credible business over the course of a weekend. The weekend brings together people with different skillsets - primarily developers, UX/UI designers and business people - to build applications and develop a commercial case around them.

Who can attend:

"DEVELOPER" - software engineers/coders/developers - in short, anybody who can and will write code.

"DESIGNER" - anybody with a background in design (graphics, UX/UI, etc.)

"NON-TECHNICAL" - applies to business, marketing, PR, and anyone with a non-technical background.

STUDENTS are welcome, you simply need to pick one of the classifications above.

TIP: Heard about startup companies being funded at Hack2Hatch (http://www.hack2hatch.org)? Well, join SWC and build your own startup so you can join similar events year!
