From finding a mentor (or becoming one) to being better allies for our female colleagues, increasing sisterhood in the workplace is the best way to fast-track our way up the corporate ladder and increase diversity in the tech industry.
However, it’s not uncommon to hear workplace stories where women don't feel supported. If so, what can we do to recognize and #choosetochallenge our own implicit biases? And how can we include men into the conversation?
In honour of Women’s History Month, our panel of tech trailblazers will share their stories and their best advice on how they champion their female colleagues and build a solid network at the same time.
You’ll discover:
How you can truly form deep and lasting connections with your female colleagues
How you can be a better ally for your female colleagues
How to be a better ally for women of colour and LGBTQ+ colleagues
Why having a mentor is the key to personal and professional growth
Where to find one (even if you’re shy or don’t know where to start)
How to find the right support to help you overcome barriers in your career
Every attendee will have the opportunity to ask questions to the panellists and network with the other guests.
