Speakers Bios:

Amy Bruce Gardner

I’m 24 years old, and work as a Cloud Systems Developer at Cloudreach. I joined Cloudreach last September as part of the graduate programme, and now my day to day work includes building and deploying AWS infrastructure, and working with Chef. Currently I’m helping internal customers deploy data analysis applications into AWS.

Dr Janet Bastiman

Janet heads up the AI division at StoryStream and has extensive experience in leading teams and building AI systems. With over 10 years' experience at C-level, she has taken abstract concepts to innovate saleable products at multiple companies. A STEM polymath, Janet brings multidisciplinary ideas to the departments she leads, forming cutting edge research teams with an eye on delivery that is rarely seen outside of academia. Janet contributes to various technical websites and her own blog at janjanjan.uk.
