This month we'll be talking to people working in digital inclusion (hot topic alert!) and also digitally excluded communities:

• Lisa Lee from Good Things Foundation (https://www.goodthingsfoundation.org).

Lisa is a Business Development Officer at Good Things Foundation, a UK staff-led charity that helps the most vulnerable people in society to engage with technology and use it to improve their lives, driving outcomes such as employability, health and wellbeing, financial inclusion, and literacy and numeracy. Since 2010, they have helped 2 million people.

Lisa works across the UK, creating partnerships to find new and innovative ways to use digital to tackle social exclusion.

• Rita Cervetto from Common Good (http://common-good.co/)

Rita, designer at Common Good, will be talking about U-able, a concept application designed for the UN, to help refugees work within temporary accommodations and legal restrictions.

Common Good is a strategy-led design and innovation studio, who only partner with companies which are inherently good. The team’s mission is to make the world a better, smarter and simpler place through design.

Jessie Blaynee from Reason Digital (https://reasondigital.com/)

Jessie is an Information Architect and UX Designer at Reason Digital, developing user-friendly site structures, journeys and wireframes. She is passionate about digital inclusion and considering the needs of people typically excluded from design processes, including over 65’s and people living with Dementia.

Lightning talks

We'll also have space for brief "lightning" talks on the night, where anyone will have a chance to speak for up to 3 minutes on something that helps more people do good with tech.
