It's no secret that people are a company's most valuable asset. Whether you call it Human Resources, Talent, or People & Culture, having solid and progressive practices in place when it comes to recruiting, onboarding, developing, assessing, and retaining your people is key to your success.
Unfortunately, there are many common misconceptions in place when it comes to people practices: HR is "fluffy", there's no direct business impact, culture happens organically, we don't need to abide by rules, we're too small to worry about HR, or we already have everything we need with our internal HR team. The truth is, any of these misconceptions can leave a company in a very vulnerable position, often with serious - and maybe permanent - consequences.
No matter how big or small your organization is, it's always a very good idea to have knowledgeable and trustworthy talent professionals you can rely on when the need arises. So what's the best strategy when it comes to properly taking care of your people and protecting your organization? When is the right time to start thinking about foundational People & Culture processes and practices? Should you hire in-house or outsource? Do you still need outsourced expertise if you already have an in-house team? How do you assess talent professionals, and when is the right time to engage them? What can you gain if you have the right practices in place, and lose if you don't?
Join us on September 8th for an open panel discussion with top-notch tech companies Optimum Talent, Elastic Path and Instant Financial, led by leading business performance consulting firm Ayming, to learn best strategies for securing People & Culture expertise, tips on building exemplary foundations and workplaces, and lessons and pearls of wisdom that you can use for your own organizational planning.
