Peers & Beers
Want to network with your peers and help each other out? In this unique twist on our TechAfterHours event, we'll have a Peers & Beers where we'll set out a room with lots of food and beverage for you to work with your peers on helping each other out. Think of it as a Group Office Hours or Group Therapy where those who know how to do something can help others who don't and those who want help on topics can work with each other. We'll set aside parts of the room for peer-based networking and help on topics ranging from App Development and UI to Sales and Marketing and Growth Hacking. Come and help each other out!
The Pitch Competition
Would you like to share your awesome pitch with your colleagues? Want some incentives to do that? Then enroll in the BizBootcamp to enter our Pitch Competition. The Pitch Competition will be an awesome opportunity to share your innovation or business with your peers, who will also be your judges. You will be judged on three factors: How well you pitch, how good is your idea, and how well you have implemented the idea. The person/team with the most votes will win $500 in cold, hard cash (it might be a check or Paypal payment). Second place will win $300, and a third-place contestant will get $200. All team participants must be enrolled in the BizBootcamp to participate.
How much time will you have to pitch? Here's where things get interesting. Everyone starts out with 15 seconds. Not enough time? For each Workshop you attend, you will get an extra 15 seconds to pitch. Attend 1:1 sessions and get bonus time, up to 2 minutes total. Be acknowledged as one of the top 5 Peers & Beers participants, and get a bonus 30 seconds. We'll keep track of each participant as you go through the program. TONS OF FUN!
When / Where / How Much?
The BizBootcamp will run from 8AM to 8PM and will be hosted by ETC at their location on Haven St.
It's just $75 to attend, but we only have spots are limited, so sign up quickly if you want to participate!

Yes, we've got lawyers and accountants and insurance folks and all sorts of service providers providing content here. But they are here to provide YOU what you want to know. They're experts in their field and experienced providing value and advise and services... and you've got ALL of their time for a full day for under a hundred bucks. What could be better?
