VENUE: Microsoft - Friendship Heights Location

The Microsoft folks have graciously provided their building in the Friendship Heights location to accommodate us:

The venue is at 5404 Wisconsin Ave, Chevy Chase, MD. We're on the 5th Floor. Details below:

Public Transportation

The Microsoft venue is very convenient to public transportation, right next to the Friendship Heights Metro stop on the Red Line.

There is also a parking garage adjacent to the Microsoft facilities. Park in the Bloomingdale / Whole Foods lot. There's a charge, but it's possible Microsoft validates. We'll look into that.

Want to present at a showcase?

Have something you've been working on that you'd like some feedback on? Have something that you'd like to share? Have a kernel of an idea that you'd like some thoughts on developing further? Just leave a comment for us below or send a message to the organizers and we'll get you scheduled for an upcoming DCTB. If this one is filled up, don't despair - we want you at our next one! Sign up for that one too.

See you all there!

For those of you that came to the last DC TechBreakfast and watched the Solar Systems Express video on space skydiving and thought it was literally out of this world, the Red Bull near-space skydive from 23 miles above the ground is happening this week. If you didn't come to DC TechBreakfast, you missed something.

Always enjoy the Baltimore TB's and so glad we made the inaugural DC one; we look forward to meeting more of you at future meetings. We were hoping to shout out today (sorry we were late - your traffic is crazy down there!) but we are the co-founders of Amplofi - an early stage music-based startup looking to expand our team in the areas of product dev and advisory roles. We'd love to tell everyone more about the project, so please drop me a line. We also started a meetup group - - so if you are in the music industry, check it out.

Thanks again Ron for a great Breakfast!

I love that there are so many great DC tech events, with such a diverse group. At, we are focusing on small businesses with non-perishable products operating out of local markets (Eastern Market, farmers markets, craft fairs, city markets, etc.). So if you have a favorite merchant you just cant get enough of, send them our way and we'll make sure you never want again!
