November Meeting Topic - Carbon Black

Curt Shinneman from Carbon Black will be in to present on their latest product offerings! Following his presentation, Curt is conducting a live group participation cloud-based Threat Hunting Workshop at our meeting. This provides all attendees with an opportunity of getting live hands-on experience using Carbon Black's products to fight against simulated attacks during our meeting. Carbon Black is a leading and award-winning Provider of Endpoint Security and Antivirus Protection.

Time permitting, Information Security news and round-table discussions will follow our main meeting topic.

About Us:

The CiNPA Security SIG is the Cincinnati Networking Professionals Association Security Special Interest Group. We meet monthly on the third Thursday of each month starting at 6:30 p.m.

The CiNPA Security SIG's monthly meeting format typically consists of one or two main monthly meeting topics featuring live presentations or demonstrations promoting open and interactive group discussions. Our focus is primarily on the defensive side of information security, but we delve into all other areas of cyber-security as well. Information security news, announcements, and round-table discussions follow our main meeting topics.

Directions to the conference room:

Park in the onsite parking garage (parking is free) and use the front building entrance. From there you will want to stay down the right corridor as you walk to the conference room (past the elevators, and past the bathrooms down the winding hallway).
