The next Dublin Software Craftsmanship Community event takes place on Wednesday 15th November.

Continuing on from the "Introduction to Event Sourcing" talk, Duncan Jones will reintroduce the concepts behind "Event Sourcing", show some example code (C# / VB.NET / Azure storage) and discuss ideas around performance and scalability.

Some Lego based show-and-tell too.

Remaining time will then be used for an open space session.

If you're using some new technology you think others would be interested in, if you've got a design or some code you'd like to discuss or have been battling with, if you'd like to discuss a specific practice, a problem you are having at work or you'd simply like to see what others have got to say, the Dublin Software Craftsmanship Community invite you to come along and join in the debate.

How does it work?

The first 15 minutes will be devoted to lightning talks. So if you've got a cool demo, some new technology or just something you think the group might find interesting, controversial or just plain funny, bring it along and share with the group!

Message one of the organisers here if you are interested in giving a talk. (https://www.meetup.com/Dublin-Software-Craftsmanship-Community/)

Don't worry if you've never given a lightning talk before - this is a great opportunity to give a talk in a friendly environment. We'll have a projector and a whiteboard and all talks are restricted to no more than five minutes. The rest of the evening will be run as an open space (you can look here (http://www.mindviewinc.com/Conferences/OpenSpaces) to see how an open space runs).

TechMeetup.Space is a boutique venue for user group meetups in Dublin city centre making it very accessible for people wherever they come from. But there's only room for 40 people - it's not essential to pre-register, but it is advisable if you want to be sure off a seat. PRE-REGISTER BY CLICKING HERE.

Doors open 18:15, Presentations at 19:00.
