The next Dublin Software Craftsmanship Community event takes place on Tuesday 20th February.
How does it work?
The first 15 minutes will be devoted to lightning talks. As promised we will have another session exploring event storming (see http://ziobrando.blogspot.ie/2013/11/introducing-event-storming.html for an overview of what this is). Duncan Jones will provide the business domain again but less scripted than previously and with designated "business experts" so that we can explore the dynamic of extracting and capturing domain knowledge using event storming. The rest of the evening will be run as an open space (you can look here (http://www.mindviewinc.com/Conferences/OpenSpaces) to see how an open space runs).
There's only room for limited numbers at this event (40), and people who are working in software are given priority - click https://ti.to/techmeetupspace/dublin-software-craftsmanship-community-meetup-february-2018 Doors Open 18:15 - Presentation at 19:00.
Want to Talk at a Future Event?
If you're using some new technology you think others would be interested in, if you've got a design or some code you'd like to discuss or have been battling with, if you'd like to discuss a specific practice, a problem you are having at work or you'd simply like to see what others have got to say, or just something you think the group might find interesting, controversial or just plain funny, the Dublin Software Craftsmanship Community invite you to come along and join in the debate.
Don't worry if you've never given a lightning talk before - this is a great opportunity to give a talk in a friendly environment. We'll have a projector and a whiteboard and all talks are restricted to no more than five minutes. Message one of the organisers here if you are interested in giving a talk.
