Brekkie Meet : LifeSciences & Healthtech Sector

This is our monthly Techie Brekkie specifically focussing on Life Sciences and Healthtech.

This is for anyone with an interest in Life Sciences; including areas such as healthtech, bio-engineering, genetics, bio-sensing, medtech, diagnostics and more.

Whether your interest is commercial, as a researcher, healthcare professional or from a support organisation you are welcome to join us.

There will also be a presentation given by Adam Lester George from the AHSN about their new Citizen Engagement Platform, Hyver.

hyvr.co.uk is a new digital platform launched by the West of England AHSN to promote public participation in shaping the the future of healthcare products and services. Part-social network and part-crowdsourcing platform, hyvr has been developed to facilitate conversations between citizens, innovators, healthcare professionals and decision-makers to ensure that new innovations are fit-for-purpose and appropriate to the needs of the end-users. It has been established to promote the creation of self-organising, citizen-led online communities where discussion and collective ideation can flourish and from which opinions and feedback can be requested at a cohort-specific level. Project Architect, Adam Lester-George, will give a brief presentation about the versatility of hyvr as a free tool for businesses to access public voices, support market testing and communicate with the West of England AHSN's Enterprise team, and will illustrate how hyvr can help improve the adoption and spread of your products into the NHS.
