Undercover Scrum Master

Dane Weber, a Scrum Master, spent two years as a software developer on a Scrum team. Join Tech Talk DC for our November event to hear about Dane's illuminating journey.

Dane previously served as a Scrum Master, but hit a wall coaching a team that proved resistant to popular Agile engineering techniques such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and pair programming. He became a Scrum Master after working on the business analysis and account ownership side of software development, but could not speak from personal experience about these engineering practices.

In order to get that first-hand experience and gain a new perspective, Dane opted to spend a couple of years as a software developer on a Scrum team and learned more than he expected.
