Welcome! We're a community of Makers, Educators, Smart People, Friendly Nerds, Techies, Entrepreneurs, Artists, Creators, Active Readers and people who love learning new skills.
TechWorks is a physical space (opening Spring 2019), a community, and a vision for transforming Gaston county. The physical TechWorks space is located next to the Rivermen Brewing in Belmont, NC. TechWorks also provides resources, classes, and a community to help people turn ideas and napkin sketches into businesses and products.

Very engaging speaker, who has extensive technical experience and is an official advocate for Hacking is Not a Crime. His presentation will focus on models of cybersecurity rather than controls and frameworks.This is a free event, and we provide food and drinks! We started this organization in April 2025 to create an IT community close to home.
