In this Techie Brekkie we will talk about API Usability and how Steven uses UX research in his current role at Microsoft to figure out how best to design Azure SDKs. He runs UX studies on their SDKs on a regular basis in order to learn how design decisions they have made in the SDK affect the experience that different types of developers have with the SDK.

Steve Clarke is a UX researcher in the Developer Division at Microsoft. He works on Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio and the Azure SDKs. His job is to collaborate with the engineering teams to learn about their customers, the problems they face using their tools and services, and how they can improve the user experience.

On the day....

You don't need to bring anything other than yourself, a desire to join the discussion and of course an appetite.

We'll meet from 8am for an 8.30am start (sharp!). Steven will kick off the round table with a 10 minute talk then we will discuss until circa 9.30am, with networking afterwards until 10am if you have time.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
