Tech In Motion VIII will be not only be at 1871 (http://www.1871.com/), we will also be featuring an 1871 startup: CrowdNoize (http://crowdnoize.com/category/posts/). Founders Domingo Meneses (https://twitter.com/Go_Mene) and Patrick Welby (https://twitter.com/Pwelbs) will be presenting why CrowdNoize will change how you experience a live music event from here on out.
We have selected a great panel that will help CrowdNoize with their feedback on the current version of their product and act as an advisory council for the event as to where they should go next and what they should concentrate on moving forward.

Mike McGee (http://www.linkedin.com/in/michaelmcgee1) is a co-founder of Code Academy (http://www.codecademy.com/). Mike is also very passionate about education and has worked with numerous not-for-profits across Chicago to increase access to high-quality education at the high school and college levels. @michaelmcgee
Rick Desai (http://www.linkedin.com/in/rickpdesai) is the co-founder of Dashfire (http://www.dashfire.com/), a startup enablement firm that helped launch BucketFeet (http://www.bucketfeet.com/), EverTrue (http://www.evertrue.com/), and Bloomboard (http://www.bloomboard.com/). Rick is also an active advisor and investor to Chicago’s tech startup community. He previously worked with the Chicago-based private equity firm, Madison Dearborn Partners (http://www.mdcp.com/), and Lehman Brothers. Rick was Clinton Fellow in 2009 working with microfinance in India. This is Rick's second time on a Tech In Motion panel, he previously was on the panel of Tech In Motion III (https://www.meetup.com/TechinMotion/events/36243632/) - and he rocked it. @rickdesai
Tom Giles (http://www.linkedin.com/in/tomgiles) is the founder and CEO of StageBloc (http://stagebloc.com/). Tom previously worked in artist management managing the multi-platinum recording artist G4, founded an on-campus indie record label, has worked with Eminem, Red Bull Records, and The Glitch Mob (http://theglitchmob.com/), and played in a touring rock band. While undergoing 8 years of reconstructive hip surgeries, Tom taught himself to code and developed the original version of StageBloc.Ouch! @tomgiles
Danny Sanchez (http://www.linkedin.com/pub/danny-sanchez/4/300/330) who is currently the CTO for Music Dealers LLC (http://www.musicdealers.com/). Danny has held positions as Director of Technology for http://Monster.com , VP of Product development for http://OnlineSeats.com as well as co-founding 2 start ups in the mobile space. Danny attended Columbia College for sound engineering and has been involved in the Music scene in Chicago for over 15 years. @dannysanchez8
