Join Tech in Motion Philadelphia and Microsoft's Jeff Fritz for a Tech Talk: 3M Requests per Second - The New ASP.NET Core. In this talk, we will explore the speedy new ASP.NET Core framework for building applications on Linux. We'll look at the complete open source stack for developing and delivering web applications on Linux and other operating systems. Attendees in this session will learn about how ASP.NET Core is built for performance and how easy it is to get installed and working with Docker, Apache, or nginx.

About Jeff Fritz

Jeff Fritz is Senior Program Manager in Microsoft's Developer Division with a focus on ASP.NET. He is a long time web developer who survived the first .COM boom, bust and the web 2.0 movement. Along the way, he has built a number of high-scale multi-tenant web applications using the software-as-a-service model in the pharmaceutical, financial, and education industries. He has played a key role at each of these organizations in performance tuning and scaling up their application architectures.
