Tech Startup Night ft. Wave, Epilogger, Waystation, and Uniiverse

The Tech in Motion event series is excited to announce its inaugural Canadian event!

Tech in Motion is an event program that is designed to bring tech communities together through innovative presentations from local thought leaders, and networking mixers.

Join us at Jobspring Toronto's gorgeous new space downtown in the financial district, for free food, drinks, and demos!

We're planning an interactive night from some of the most exciting startups based in the Toronto area. So, come, hang out, network, and meet with fellow Toronto techies.

These are the presenting startups:

Running your small business is easier when your tools play nice with each other. With free tools like invoicing, accounting and receipt scanning as well as affordable tools like payroll and payment processing all in one application, you're always organized and up to date. As your business grows, Wave grows with you. Use only what you need today, don't pay for anything you don't want.

Epilogger brings the entire experience of an event into one interactive hub. It connects people by virtue of the shared experience, regardless of the closed social network. We answer the questions: Where is all the content? Who’s here? What’s happening? How can I contribute?

Epilogger goes beyond the hashtag by connecting people through experience and across social media platforms. It’s the story of the event from all points of view while allowing you to navigate to specific content and interact with it, save and share memories, get recommendations for more events in the same category and meet new people interested in the same things as you! We put the pen of history in the hand of the people who experienced it firsthand.

Waystation allows people across the world to greet the astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS). Using an iOS application, our app alerts users when the ISS is visible from their location and encourages them to smile, wave, and share that sentiment with the world. The astronauts will then receive the tweets and messages which are visualized on Waystation's website. Waystation is also an open API to allow all developers to track and create compelling applications with ISS data.

Uniiverse is the local marketplace to share and connect with people in real life. It allows anyone to offer, discover, and book unique activities and services nearby. Browsing through Uniiverse is a great way to find amazing things to do in your city, or trustworthy people offering helpful services. It's free to post a listing and receive payments on Uniiverse, whether it be for a cooking class, personal training sessions, dog walking, or a large event. Uniiverse makes it easy to share your passion, monetize your skills, and experience real life.

My co-founder and I are working on a multi-functional monitoring system/app. We are currently seeking a dedicated app developer to join our team to help us with programming. Would i be able to attend this event and talk with the programmers and see who is interested in joining our startup?
