In this meetup we will have two presentations focused on game development and different tech stacks behind them including full stack JavaScript, MeteorJS, Java, and GameMaker 2.
First Presentation:
Title: Building a Full Stack Game with MeteorJS
Summary: In this presentation I will describe how I am using the MeteorJS full stack JavaScript framework to build a browser based, real-time, multi-player arcade game called Space Frigates. I'll provide an overview of the current architecture, technical challenges, game design considerations, development experience and future possibilities.

Second Presentation:
Cosmotrons is a new arcade game created by Arcadeaholics LLC. Cosmotrons began as a project set to be released on Steam but ended up changing course and releasing to arcades. In this talk, I'll cover some of the considerations that come along with shipping both a software product and a physical product. I'll also talk about some of the technical "lessons learned" from having machines on location.
GameMaker Studio 2 was used during development while using a Java Application for updating.
