March 8th mapathon: help end FGM in Tanzania!

We will be mapping the Serengeti district in Tanzania where female genital mutilation (FGM) is prevalent on OpenStreetMap. Maps help support outreach efforts & save more girls and allow them to reach the Safe House, where they get shelter and education.

A lot has happened @Crowd2Map Tanzania in one year!! For starters, >42 000 km of roads, >700 000 buildings, ~170 villages mapped; 2257 girls were prevented from undergoing FGM this year - efforts largely supported by better maps!
