This group is designed for developers working the high tech industries, and other tech- savvy people who have a passion for innovation. In these sessions we ( IBM, Red Hat and business partners) will provide hands on experience and guidance for further learnings about the topics being provided. Developers are welcome to join this group to meet their peers, learn about new technical developments, share and collaborate and grow their skills.
Get Quantum Ready:
It’s time for a round of updates in Quantum Computing!
January’s workshop is dedicated to quantum. During this workshop we will explore quantum algorithms and IBM Q Experience. Would you like to join the hands-on workshop? Don’t forget to bring your laptop. No prior knowledge is required, just an open mind to learn new things.
First Part: Starter
For those of you new to quantum computing: we will kick off with an introduction to quantum computing. We will share with you the basics of what quantum computing is, how it differs from traditional computing and giving some first examples of future applications. You will see that you don’t need to be a physics expert to work on quantum computing.
Second Part: Hands-on!
We will share the latest updates with you on Qiskit, new algorithms you can start using, show pointers to additional learning materials (Jupyter notebooks), etc. We will also make enough time for you to ask any question you might have, so come prepared and get quantum ready!
Presenter: IBM Q ambassador Cor van der Struijf : : https://www.linkedin.com/in/cor-van-der-struijf-583ab4/
