This lunchtime series will showcase new and upcoming breakthroughs in sustainable technologies in the Philadelphia region. Presenters will give brief 7-9 minute previews of their respective projects:

Pat McDonald of Onion Flats to talk about their Stable Flats project (http://hiddencityphila.org/2012/01/stable-flats-out-of-the-gate-2/) in Northern Liberties, the first certified Passive Housing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passive_house) in Philly.

Nicholas Mirra of The Bicycle Coalition will talk about the recent launch of Connect the Circuit (http://connectthecircuit.org/), which integrates government-funded, nonprofit and privately owned bike trails of Philadelphia and its surrounding counties in an easy-to-use, interactive format.

Christine Knapp, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Philadelphia Water Department will discuss the Solar Sunflower Project (http://www.phillywatersheds.org/solar-sunflower).

Laurie Actman, Deputy Director of EEBHub will talk about the brand new incubator opening in their Navy Yard headquarters, in partnership with BFTP/SEP.
