Meet others in the area interested in empowering themselves and the collective. This group is generally focused on those who are interested in exploring Technologies of the Mind, including hypnosis, NLP and various other empowering modalities. We enjoy creatively simplifying these modalities to improve the human condition.
Learn about how you can use NightWalking to inhibit anxiety and walk at night without artificial light.
Because we live in a highly focused world - full of wonderful cell phones, tablets, computers, and lots of text and artificial light at night - most of us need practice to go peripheral and stay there and enjoy the benefits of a calm, attentive state of mind and body.
Come learn about human vision and the enjoyable state that goes with it from special guest Katie Raver, an NLP master trainer and NightWalking instructor visiting from Austin, Texas.
In this Saturday evening program you'll:
*be guided through several easy exercises for beginning to access your peripheral vision intentionally
*learn a little about the founder of these exercises, author of the NLP book The Structure of Delight, and creator of NightWalking, Nelson Zink
*hear a few fun stories about how to use peripheral vision
*experience a Virtual NightWalk trance - a way to experience NightWalking and peripheral vision, in a small way, from the comfort of the classroom, using hypnosis
By the end of this program, you'll be able to practice going peripheral on your own and share it with others who might need a way out of anxiety or a way into a flow-based, creative, pleasant state.
Katie has presented several times for our meetup, including Design Your Own Hypnotic Trance https://www.meetup.com/TechnologiesoftheMind/events/49821672/ and other programs.
