Data Journalism uses numerical data as a basis for telling stories. It connects fields such as design, computer science and statistics in order to produce findings, which can then be presented in articles. Traditional journalists are not the only ones who deal in Data journalism, but also social activists and government officials. It can serve anyone wanting to share knowledge with the public.

The lecture will explore the development of data journalism, including a case study of educational data journalism, and methodologies to analyze data journalism’s flow of information.
